As part of Senior Citizens, Inc.’s Landmarks of Liberty lecture series, Dr. Stan Deaton, The Dr. Elaine B. Andrews Distinguished Historian at the Georgia Historical Society, will present “Button Gwinnett and the Declaration of Independence.”
This historically elusive signer of the Declaration leaves behind mystery and conjecture, including the question of his burial site.
The talk will be presented on Thursday, October 8, from 5:30-6:30 p.m., at The Learning Center, 3025 Bull Street, in Savannah.
Free and open to the public, but registration is required.
