The Georgia Historical Society is pleased to participate in the 2026 Genealogy Resource Fair.

LaPortia Mosley, Community Engagement Officer at the Georgia Historical Society, will serve as keynote speaker. She leads initiatives that connect communities across Georgia with the state’s history, including Recognizing an Imperfect Past and the Community Archives Initiative. Through this work, she fosters partnerships with educators, corporate stakeholders, and organizations across the state, helping communities and students understand the importance of archives in preserving family and local history.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore genealogy resources, engage with experts, and learn how archival materials can be used to better understand the past.
