DESCRIPTION:The Georgia Historical Society is pleased to participate in the
  2026 Genealogy Resource Fair.\n\nLaPortia Mosley\, Community Engagement O
 fficer at the Georgia Historical Society\, will serve as keynote speaker. 
 She leads initiatives that connect communities across Georgia with the sta
 te’s history\, including Recognizing an Imperfect Past and the Community
  Archives Initiative. Through this work\, she fosters partnerships with ed
 ucators\, corporate stakeholders\, and organizations across the state\, he
 lping communities and students understand the importance of archives in pr
 eserving family and local history.\n\nAttendees will have the opportunity 
 to explore genealogy resources\, engage with experts\, and learn how archi
 val materials can be used to better understand the past.\n\nThe event is f
