As President of AT&T Georgia, Riley Blount is responsible for leading AT&T’s economic development, public policy, philanthropic and community engagement objectives across Georgia. Riley works closely with state and local policymakers, and business and community leaders, to foster an environment that welcomes investment and innovation and creates opportunities to improve the quality of life for Georgians.
In Georgia, Riley helps drive more than $3.6 billion in annual network spend. This financial investment has expanded AT&T’s fiber footprint, providing internet access to more than 2 million homes and small businesses in more than 155 Georgia communities. It has also propelled the expansion of AT&T’s 5G wireless network to more than 95 percent of Georgians. Under Riley’s leadership, AT&T’s investments in network infrastructure are enhancing connectivity and helping drive economic development opportunities across the state.
Riley also oversees AT&T’s charitable giving in Georgia and remains laser-focused on closing the digital divide. As part of these efforts, she has led the establishment of eight AT&T Connected Learning Centers in Georgia. These technology centers empower Georgians by providing connections to vital digital resources, high-speed internet and mentorship – fostering educational advancement, workforce development, telehealth avenues and beyond.
Spearheading an across enterprise team, Riley guides FirstNet, Built with AT&T efforts in Georgia to help deliver on AT&T’s long-standing commitment to public safety. She is proud to support FirstNet’s advancement across more than 640 Georgia agencies to provide cutting-edge solutions that keep Georgia’s first responders and neighborhoods safer.
Dedicated to holistic community progress, Riley serves on the Executive Boards of Directors for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau. She also serves on the Boards of Directors for the Atlanta Committee for Progress, Atlanta Police Foundation, Grady Health Foundation, Georgia Chamber of Commerce and Woodruff Arts Center. For the past two years, Riley has been recognized as one of Georgia Trend’s 100 Most Influential Georgians.
Riley holds a bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from Auburn University and is the proud mother of two sons.
