Ms. García-Culler is a graduate of the University of Virginia with over 25 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector. She joined the Georgia Historical Society (GHS) in May of 2003 and is responsible for planning and oversight of all programming and services, archival acquisitions and collections processing, human resource, financial, development, and administrative operations. She has acted as project manager for several capital improvements including (locally) the Jepson House Education Center and GHS Research Center renovation. As COO, she oversees the daily operations of the institution and supervises senior staff. Ms. García-Culler has served as Deputy Director or COO at the local, state, and national level and her experience includes hands on oversight of major events including a festivals, national conferences, and fund raising galas. Prior to joining GHS she was Deputy Director of the Savannah Music Festival and the National Immigration Forum. Ms. García-Culler is an alumnus of Leadership Georgia (Class of 2009) and served as board chairman and treasurer of the Savannah Children’s Choir. She is a member of The Rotary Club of Savannah and former President and a current board member of the UVA Club of Savannah.
