Elyse Butler is the Manager of Programs and Special Projects at the Georgia Historical Society. Ms. Butler coordinates the Georgia Historical Marker Program and assists with the development and implementation of the Institution's programs. She holds a bachelor of arts in Anthropology from Georgia State University, and a masters in History with a graduate certificate in Museum Studies from the University of Missouri- St. Louis. During her graduate program she held a two year assistantship with Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site as Assistant to the Curator.
