As the Georgia Historical Society’s Director of Education, Ben Maynard brings extensive experience in civics education and educational leadership. He holds an MA in history from the University of West Georgia and an MLIS in information science and digital media from the University of North Texas. Prior to joining GHS, he served as Director of Civics Education at the Sandra Day O’Connor Institute and previously worked as Director of Media and Educational Technology at Noble Academy.
