SAVANNAH, Ga., April 18, 2012 -The Georgia Historical Society will hold its Annual Book Sale on April 27-28 at Hodgson Hall from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m., with a GHS members only preview on Fri., April 27 from 9 - 10 a.m. Proof of membership is required.
This popular annual event raises greatly-needed funds for GHS's library and archives. Proceeds from the sale are used to purchase new library materials and care for the oldest collection of Georgia history.
Donations for the sale will be accepted through Wed., April 25, and can include rare and non-rare: fiction, poetry, children's, and all non-fiction subjects including history, biography, current events, how-to, religion, business, self-help, cooking, gardening, etc.
