Founder's Day Run
The Joint Force Headquarters of the Georgia Army and Air National Guard
will be hosting the second annual Founder's Day Commemorative run
marking the anniversary of General Oglethorpe's landing at Savannah.
Known as the "Purple Pig Run", it's a five mile loop around Stone
Mountain, at Stone Mountain Park. The public is welcome to participate,
and registration is required by 6 February. Park access is $10 per
vehicle, and registration is $12. For more information and to register,
