            <head>Organizational history</head>
            <p>Arts Ashore, Inc. was a private non-profit corporation and comprehensive festival of cultural events in Savannah, Georgia and surrounding areas in order to showcase the diversity and quality of local and regional cultural resources, along with national and international organizations and artists to enrich the entire community during the 1996 Olympic yachting events held in Savannah. This organization was created by the Cultural Committee for the Savannah Support Council (SOSCO), which was responsible for the development of local legacy projects in honor of the 1996 Olympics in Savannah.</p>
            <p>Jane A. Feiler of Savannah, Georgia served as president of Arts Ashore, Inc.</p>

            <p>This collection contains correspondence, bills, minutes, contracts, financial records, clippings, scrapbooks, and other records regarding the operation of Arts Ashore, Inc. and their cultural events held in the Savannah, Georgia community from 1993 to 1996. This collection makes up the organizational records held by Jane A. Feiler as president of Arts Ashore, Inc.
