Elfrida Barrow Moore resided in Savannah, Georgia and later moved to Ridgeland, South Carolina.

 Scope and content note

This collection contains clippings, correspondence, minutes, and programs from 1977 to 1988 chronicling the fundraising efforts to have the fountain in Forsyth Park, Savannah, Georgia repaired and renovated. Fundraising efforts for this project were organized by the Signatures of Savannah (S.O.S.), a citizens committee that advertised the sale of bricks that would be engraved with donors' names and installed near the newly restored fountain to serve as a permanent reminder of the donors' contributions to the community. Also included are clippings of the unveiling of the restored Forsyth Park fountain.
