Emily G. Ravenel (1891-1989) was the daughter of Thomas P. Ravenel (1851-1936) and sister of Elizabeth Ravenel (1893-1972). She lived at 116 E. McDonough St. in Savannah, Georgia.

This collection contains a visitors' book from Emily G. Ravenel's home on 116 E. McDonough St. in Savannah, Georgia from 1943-1944. Majority of the Ravenel's guests who signed her book were soldiers from all branches of the military who served during World War II.
