            <head>Organizational history</head>
            <p>The Savannah Historic Board of Review was established in 1973 and works to protect the values of properties with historical significance or unique architectural features. It also exists to protect the values of properties in relation to a square, park, or area within the landmark historic district in Savannah, Georgia.</p>

            <head>Scope and content note</head>
            <p>This collection contains reports with historical and descriptive data, photographs, negatives, and architectural drawings of buildings that have either been demolished or significantly renovated near the Trustees' Garden in Savannah, Georgia. The reports were assembled for review by the Savannah Historic Board of Review in 2000. The historical and descriptive data was compiled by historian, M. Todd Cleveland, the Senior Preservation Planner of TRC Garrow Associates, Inc. and photographs were taken by Vincent G. Macek. Within this collection, there is information on the following properties in Savannah: the coal and storage building on 16-24 Bishops Court, the H. Hansell and Mary Maclaren hours on 48-50 Fort Wayne, the lime shed and oil house on 52 Fort Wayne, and the storage building on 54-56 Fort Wayne.</p>
