            <p>Alice (Lallie) Dozier Benkoski was a professional genealogist from Albany, Georgia. She was born in 1926 and was the daughter of Obedience (Obie) Rogers (1888-1939) and Alice Louise Brinkley Dozier (1888-1967).</p>

            <head>Scope and content note</head>
            <p>This collection contains research materials, genealogies, photographs, postcards, scrapbooks and subject files created and collected by Alice (Lallie) Dozier Benkoski from 1905 to 2003. Benkoski collected newspaper clippings and other materials relating to members of her family, particularly her mother, Alice Louise Brinkley, and her sister, Evelyn (Lois) Dozier Norvell and other related families including the Rivieres, Pooles, and Norvells. Benkoski used these materials to write brief family histories which are also included within this collection. This collection also contains subject files kept by Benkoski of various counties in Georgia.</p>
