            <head>Biographical information</head>
            <p>Edward de Clifford Chisholm was born in 1871 in Savannah, Georgia and was the son of Walter Scott and Eliza Clifford Anderson Chisholm. He married Edith Seymour Johnson in 1898 and the couple lived in Manhattan, New York where Chisholm worked as a broker.</p>

            <head>Scope and content note</head>
            <p>This collection contains a program in honor of Edward de Clifford Chisholm for becoming a permanent founder member of the Army, Navy, and Marine Corps Country Club after World War 1. Also included are photographs from the 1870s to the 1930s of Chisholm and one of his father, Judge Walter Schott Chisholm, who was a prominent lawyer and judge of the city court in Savannah, Georgia.</p>
