The Warlick Awards recognize outstanding achievement in the field of public history by Affiliate Chapters of the Georgia Historical Society. All nominations must be for a completed project and must not be more than two years old at date of submission. The next submission deadline is December 1, 2007.

There are five categories for submission:

• Programs (educational programs and media projects - videos, audio programs, television programs)

• Exhibits (temporary, permanent, traveling)

• Preservation Projects (buildings, cemeteries, etc.)

• Archival Excellence (records, artifacts, facilities development, etc.)

• Media Projects (videos, online projects, audio programs, television programs, etc.)

Nominations should include:

• Cover Page (download)

• One Page Statement Explaining the Nomination

• Supporting Material as appropriate (photographs, copies of printed material, press releases, videos, etc.). Photographs and other materials may be black/white or color copies; supporting materials cannot be returned.

Organizations will not be eligible to win in the same category more than two consecutive years.
