Workshops will introduce educators to the digital collections of the Library of Congress, the Georgia Historical Society, as well as other repositories across Georgia while equipping them with tips, tools, and techniques for engaging students in exploration and study of primary sources and informational texts in the classroom.
The Georgia Historical Society’s Opening America’s Archives: Using Primary Sources Across Disciplines teacher-training initiative is supported in part by the Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources Eastern Region Program, coordinated by Waynesburg University.
