The National Park Service commemorates the 1736 founding of Frederica. Living history activities including historic weapons demonstrations, 18th century trades and crafts will bring the history of this British fort and town to life.
General James E. Oglethorpe, and the Garrison of Fort King George would like to invite members of the public to a quaint colonial dinner in the enlisted soldiers barracks. Evening entertainment will feature the arrival of General Oglethorpe, musket & cannon firings, as well as interaction between the fort officers, soldiers, and dinner guests. Come share time with the founder of the colony of Georgia!
